Hi all! I haven't been able to find anyone yet who missed these 3 days on the October 2009 long weekend (I was in Port Lincoln giving away my sister who remarried on the Saturday). I am desperate to walk accross the line in Parachilna Gorge with the group in August 2011, having completed all previous walks. So if there is anyone out there in cyberspace who would like to do these 3 days before August 2011, let me know ASAP! When I looked in May, there were no other names in the catch up book held by Dean for the 3 days.
Cheers

Michael,
You could use the email list Simon sends out to disseminate your appeal more widely.
I would suggest you copy and paste his listand see what response you get.

Hi Michael
I'm not sure if this is any use to you, but I'm planning my own walk (largely solo) from South to North - starting in about a week. I would expect to be finishing the first (South) book and starting on the second (North) -the 3 days you are talking about - round about 1st or 2nd week of august - I can't be more exact than that at this stage.
Of course it all depends on how I go, how my legs bear up, etc, and whether I actually get that far - but I'm not averse to company for a couple of days if that helps you at all. I doubt if I would cover more than 20 kms a day if I'm carrying a full pack, though I could do a few more if we are in a position to do a car shuffle and turn this into a series of day walks...I am not a fast walker - much more the slow plodder type..
Anyway - let me know if this is of any interest to you..
Cheers
