We will be walking from Quorn to the Parachilna Trailhead from 27 September to 10 October. Is there a possibility of standing water being in any of the creeks at this time?
Thanks

A report from a group walking last week:
walked down as far as Mayo Gorge just north of the Mayo Hut.
Apart from water tanks at the shelters and huts(most were 66-75% full) there was water available at these points:
Pigeon Bore via the hand-operated pump (Map 6.7 Grid Ref. 675 413)
Water in small rockpools in Slaty Creek (Map 5.4 Grid Ref. 606 874 to 609 877) NOTE: These may have dried up in a few weeks time.
Mayo Gorge (Map 5.3 Grid Ref. 543 855)
Cheers,
Dean _________________ Jeremy

Not sure if that was clear. The group walked the Parahilna Gorge to Mt Little/Mayo Gorge section (near Mayo Hut, Hawker)
Shirl - let us know how your walk goes, sounds like a great plan! _________________ Jeremy
