Submitting Articles

We encourage members (and others) to submit articles about their walk experiences, both here in South Australia - whether it be on the Heysen Trail or another local trail - and their walk experiences interstate or overseas.

Articles, reports and other submissions should be emailed to the Trailwalker Editor at by the deadline given below.

Publication Dates

The quarterly Trailwalker magazine is published at the commencement of each of the four seasons. The publication dates and deadlines are:

Autumn edition (March 1st)
Article & report deadline the first Friday in February

Winter edition (June 1st)
Article & report deadline the first Friday in May

Spring edition (September 1st)
Article & report deadline the first Friday in August

Summer edition (December 1st)
Article & report deadline the first Friday in November
